My favorite snacks

I REALLY love Macarons. One of my absolute favorite things to nibble on <3
But when Im feeling like being a little healthier I really enjoy Vietnamese spring rolls too!

And these... ohohohoho! It doesnt look like much But this is the Japanese favorite known as sakura mochi! I tell you, these things pack a heck of a lot of flavor for a little ball of rice!!  SO GOOD!!!

Some places I've eaten recently

Beer and a kebap from this Turkish/german hybrid place we have around here called Vertskebap they had a lovely beef/lamb combo and the beer was good too!

And this of course the beef bourguignon ar La Madeline. Absolutely divine! even if not all of their food is completely authentic, this at least is wonderful! I want to try making my own... we'll see how that goes. ha!

Ma cherie

And one of my favorite aspects of my international lifestyle of course is my adorable, loveable vietnamese girlfriend.

ahh yes, lavender chocolate and macarons. whats not to love? #FDM

I love to cook!

I LOVE to cook! I like to try a great many things. but when you get right down to it I really shine when it comes to the foods of my main heritages. French and Italian! My favorites are making crepes and Pasta. I really get into the experience of it when I make pasta too. happily skipping around singing in Italian, haha I also love to make mediteranean flatbreads with Feta basil and tomatoes. Id have to say tomato, garlic and olive oil are some of my favorite ingredients. I also have a love of putting lavender into a lot of things. such as the iced tea Im drinking as I type this!

Plum coffee

Well, Ive found a cute little cafe I can frequent in my neighborhood. Why? Because im bored with Starbucks!

Crepes~!

One of my favorite things to make. Fairly easy and everyone loves them! In this specific recipe I used lavender oil in the batter and a rose-infused cream cheese.

A hearty bonjour to start things off!

Bonjour mes amis! Just want to say this. I am deeply and passionately in love with life! Although one could say as an american I'm not very patriotic, as my heart belongs to the continent! I love all things European and foreign things in general really. Someday I want to live in Europe and to that end I have recently begun a career in linguistics. I have had a love of eastern cultures for most of my life as well, although in personal tastes I am more western I do greatly admire the Japanese in terms of food, arts and language. I want to make as many friends around the world as possible. So no matter where you're from, understand that I want to meet you! to all the people of the world, hello! Konnichiwa! Bonjour!!
